EWERK and NORD Holding enter partnership for further growth

NORD Holding is the new majority owner of EWERK, an IT Services provider. The founders and managing directors Hendrik Schubert and Dr. Erik Wende will remain in their current roles and retain a significant stake in the company. This provides the ideal basis for a continuation of the initiated growth trajectory as innovative solutions provider focussed on regulated clients.

Growth through scaling existing and new business areas as well as buy-and-build
EWERK is a leading IT Services provider with a solutions portfolio tailored to highly regulated clients. In 2018, EWERK embarked on a growth strategy consisting of organic as well as inorganic growth pillars. Strong sales growth, the establishment of the business segment Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) as well as the acquisition of EBCSoft, a provider of energy data management, CAFM and building automation solutions, are testament to the initiated growth strategy.
EWERK and NORD Holding plan to further accelerate the organic growth through targeted add-on acquisitions.
This transaction was executed by NORD Holding’s Software & Technology team, highlighting NORD’s sector expertise in IT Services.

The transaction remains subject to approval by the German competition authorities.
