Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging
Through the acquisition of Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging, funds advised by NORD Holding are shaping together with the existing portfolio company, OR Technology, a globally active imaging technology holding in the veterinary sector and beyond.
This marks as a significant milestone, as this is the second acquisition within less than a year of the partnership of OR Technology and NORD Holding.
With more than 200 employees across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America, the newly formed group combines complementary technologies, strongbrands, and deep expertise across a broad range of imaging modalities. Hallmarq contributes its leading capabilities in the development of advanced MRI and CT solutions specifically designed for veterinary applications. OR Technology complements this with its established portfolio of digital X-ray systems, ultrasound solutions, and powerful imaging software, including AI-supported diagnostics for companion animals and equine patients.
The combination creates a unique platform spanning multiple imaging modalities, software solutions, clinical applications, and customer segments. Together, the companies are well positioned to accelerate innovation, expand their global footprint, and deliver enhanced value to customers through a comprehensive and integrated imaging offering.
André Seidel, Partner at NORD Holding, commented: “This combination represents another important step in the development of our investment. Bringing together complementary technologies, strong innovation capabilities, and international reach provides an excellent foundation for building a global leader in multimodality veterinary imaging.”
Dominik Bronstering, Investment Manager at NORD Holding, added: “We see significant potential to further strengthen the group through targeted investments in technology, international expansion, and strategic add-on acquisitions. I am extremely positive to support the joint management team’s vision and their commitment to further build this group’s position as an innovation & service leader.”
The transaction was supported by the NORD Holding investment team, including André Seidel, Dominik Bronstering, and Tim Haase. The fund is managed by NordVest GmbH, Hanover, as a AIFM.
