A fund advised by NORD Holding acquires a stake in the VisionmaxX Group, the leading managed service provider (MSP) for IT services in German medical practices. Together with NORD Holding, founders Steffen Konrad and Jens Schlerf aim to develop the VisionmaxX Group into the central digital IT infrastructure platform for outpatient healthcare in the DACH region.

VisionmaxX was founded in 2004 by Steffen Konrad and Jens Schlerf and has grown over two decades into the preferred IT partner for medical practices with a focus on the dental sector across Germany. The comprehensive service portfolio ranges from IT infrastructure and telematics services to practice software integration and IT security. Through its sister company VisionCare GmbH, the group is already actively expanding into the care sector, laying the foundation for across-sectoral growth strategy in outpatient healthcare.

Outpatient healthcare is on the verge of a fundamental digital transformation. Increasing regulatory requirements, growing IT complexity in medical practices and arising demand for reliable, sovereign digital infrastructure create ideal conditions for a platform that actively shapes this transition.

Together with NORD Holding, VisionmaxX is set to become the leading healthcare IT service platform in the DACH region over the coming years, through organice xpansion into adjacent medical specialties and care segments as well as through targeted partnerships and acquisitions.

The investment was completed in late March 2026 by the NORD Holding Tech and Healthcare team, underscoring its deep sector expertise in technology and healthcare. On behalf of NORD Holding, the transaction was supported by Mario Sabljo, Dominik Bronstering, Kim Martin Steinbart and Moritz Hagenmeyer. The fund is managed by NordVest GmbH, Hannover, acting as AIFM.

The transaction is subject to merger control clearance.
