Analyst – Direct Investments Mid Cap
We are a leading European Private Equity Manager. Our direct investment mid-cap team focuses on growing and profitable medium-sized companies in German-speaking countries. The focus here is on the healthcare, technology & software, smart industries and business services sectors. Since our founding in 1969, we have successfully supported over 170 investments and were most recently recognized as the most active mid-market buyout fund in 2020.
Your Role
In a deal team with two other investment professionals, you can gain extensive live deal experience with us and build up an excellent track record. As an analyst, you are involved in all areas of the investment business from day one and gain deep insights into various markets, business models and transaction structures.
- Analysis and identification of attractive target markets and companies
- Modelling and structuring of acquisitions
- Support in the various due diligence streams
- Participation in the final negotiations
- Cooperation with portfolio companies' management teams to implement value-enhancement measures
Your Profile
- Outstanding master's degree with a commercial or technical background at a renowned university/business school
- Several successfully completed internships and/or initial professional experience with companies in the areas of Private Equity, Investment Banking, Transaction or Management Consulting
- Extensive previous knowledge in the areas of balance sheet, income statement, cash flow analysis, company valuation and financial modelling
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Independent and structured way of working
- Ability to work in a team and communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and affinity for SMEs
- Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
