Data Privacy Information in Accordance with Art. 13 GDPR on the Collection of Applicants’ Data
General Information
In the following, we inform you about the scope, purpose and use of your personal data collected as part of the application process. We assure you that your data will be collected, processed and used in accordance with applicable data protection law and all other statutory provisions and that your data will be treated in strictly confidence - in accordance with Article 13 of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data Collection / Processing / Storage
The personal data which you transfer are collected, processed and used in accordance with Art 6 (1) paragraph 1 lit. a) GDPR for the purpose of reaching a decision on establishing an employment relationship.
The provision of your personal data is necessary for the purposes of managing the application process and reaching a decision on the establishment of an employment relationship. If you fail to provide your personal data, we regret that we will be unable to consider you for the advertised post. No automated decision making process takes place.
Your personal data will not be passed on to external third parties.
In order to assess your documents, they will be forwarded to the responsible members of staff in the personnel department and to the competent contacts/departmental heads of the relevant department for which the application is intended.
Your furnished personal data will not be transferred to a third country or an international organisation, neither are there any plans to effect such transfer.
Your application documents will be stored at our company for the duration of the application process and for further 3 months after the end of the application process, in order to enable us to answer any questions which you may have. At the end of this period, the documents will be erased. Documents which are furnished by post will be returned or destroyed after expiry of the 3-month period.
Only with your express written consent will your data be stored until such time as you revoke such consent, in order to enable us to contact you in the future regarding job vacancies within our company which may be of interest to you.
Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Art 15 GDPR you have a right of access to information on the processing of your personal data.
Beyond this, you are also entitled to assert your rights to rectification, erasure or, where erasure is not possible, to the restriction of processing and to data portability, pursuant to Articles 16-18, 20 GDPR. Should you wish to assert this right, please contact our Data Protection Officer.
