BOCKBOCK

NORD Holding has sold the BOCK Group, a global technology and innovation leader in the heating and cooling technology market, to Danfoss.

Since the company was founded in 1932, BOCK has become one of the world's technology and innovation leaders in the development of environmentally friendly, economical solutions in the areas of refrigeration, air conditioning and heating technology. With its broad product portfolio, BOCK serves both mobile (bus, truck, refrigerated containers) and stationary applications (supermarkets, food processing). With a particular focus on compressors for natural refrigerants such as CO2, hydrocarbons and other low-GWP (Global Warming Potential) refrigerants, BOCK is making a significant contribution to the climate-friendly transition in refrigeration and air conditioning technology. International production and sales locations, a high level of consulting expertise combined with strong innovative strength at the headquarters in Frickenhausen make BOCK a premium provider in the sector.

With the support of NORD Holding, BOCK has succeeded in positioning BOCK as an independent, dynamic technology leader in order to benefit as best as possible from the positive market conditions in the refrigeration, air conditioning and heating technology sector and to develop BOCK's full potential. Since NORD Holding joined, significant investments have been made, including the relocation of production facilities and the development of a new IT infrastructure.

In addition, a comprehensive strategy program was introduced that focuses on growth opportunities through the use of BOCK's technological expertise. This was the basis for strong revenue growth during NORD Holding's investment phase.

Ronald Grott, partner at NORD Holding, explained: “We at NORD Holding are very proud to be part of BOCK's success story. This transaction was something very special for us — we not only proved that we could complete a complex spin-off from an international group of companies, but also — together with the employees — created a great corporate culture, which was the basis for strong growth development. It was a great pleasure working with BOCK and the management team, and we are convinced that this successful development will continue under the new owners.”

On the part of NORD Holding, the transaction was implemented by Ronald Grott, Jan-Philipp Wilckens, Maximilian Frey and Nicolas Eidenmüller.
