Heizkurier / Suter Gruppe Heizkurier / Suter Gruppe

The Heizkurier Group is expanding its corporate portfolio to include the Swiss Suter Group and is thus positioning itself as the market leader for equipment-as-a-service of mobile heating solutions in the DACH region. With this acquisition, NORD Holding is consistently implementing the strategy developed for Heizkurier's entry in terms of growth and focus on sustainable technology. The joint group employs around 180 people at 17 locations in the DACH region and has the largest and most technologically advanced equipment park for mobile heating applications. Both companies distinguish themselves from customers due to the highest service quality and availability. The joint group benefits from considerable synergies from Suter's innovative pellet technology and the extensive market access of the heating courier group in the DACH region. This enables an ideal position to benefit from the megatrend towards energy-efficient renovation in the building sector. There are also other relevant areas of application in the areas of building heating and drying, industrial heating, agriculture, emergencies and events. The existing management and founders of Suter participate in the merger.

The Suter Group is considered a pioneer in green pellet technology and, as a one-stop shop, rents out efficient and environmentally friendly hot air and hot water systems to its customers. Suter's modern rental plant fleet comprises more than 500 mobile pellet heating systems with an output of 50 to 1,000 kW. Driven by sustainable trends such as increased efficiency requirements and climate neutrality in the construction sector, the expansion of district heating and energy-efficient renovation in the building sector, both Heizkurier and Suter have recorded dynamic growth in recent years. Mobile heating is of essential importance here, as it ensures a seamless energy supply and thus enables ambitious political goals to be met (“bridging to green”).

“The merger of Heizkurier and Suter offers very high synergy potential. Both companies are ideally positioned to meet the high demand for mobile heating solutions with a market-leading range of technologies and services. We have been observing Suter's impressive development for some time and are now really looking forward to working together,” says Maximilian Frey, Principal of NORD Holding.

Marc Pehlke and Stefan Heer, Management of the Heizkurier Group, add: “In addition to synergies in sales and procurement, Heizkurier is opening up another, resilient end market on its way to becoming a European market leader through the acquisition of the Suter Group in Switzerland. With the expanded product portfolio, we can serve our customers in an energy-source-neutral and technology-open manner. This is a unique selling point in the mobile heating market environment. ”

Dominik Suter, Co-Founder and Chairman of the board of Suter, adds: “The merger with Heizkurier Group marks a strategically significant milestone for the Suter Group. As an innovator in the area of sustainable mobile heating solutions and producer of advanced mobile pellet heating systems, we recognize this step as a consistent continuation of our vision. Thanks to Heizkurier's extensive distribution network, we are now in a prime position to quickly establish our advanced technology in Europe. ”

The joint group aims to further internationalize and expand its mobile refrigeration business.

On the part of NORD Holding, the transaction was implemented by Philipp von Mitzlaff, Maximilian Frey, Marcel Rosengarten and Nicolas Eidenmüller.

About Heizkurier

Since 2007, Heizkurier has established itself as a leading provider for renting and selling mobile heating and cooling solutions. With the acquisition of HDS Energilösungen GmbH, which specializes in refrigeration solutions, in 2018, and the Austrian energy4rent GmbH in 2020, the company's solution portfolio and regional coverage were gradually expanded. To address the wholesale segment, the Energiebringer brand was also created in 2021.

The company's rental system currently comprises over 1,000 mobile heating and cooling centers with outputs ranging from 10 kW to 5,000 kW. All heating courier devices are “Made in Germany” or “Designed in Germany” and are manufactured based on many years of experience with the highest quality requirements. The offer is supplemented by services such as advice, planning, delivery, connection, emergency technical service and collection.

One major area of application is bridging failures in the energy-efficient renovation of buildings, where Heizkurier can make a significant contribution to reducing CO2 emissions in the building sector with its solutions.

Other important areas of application include building heating and screed drying, bridging emergencies, expansion and maintenance of district heating networks, industrial applications and events. With its intelligent solutions for construction heating, the company is creating the opportunity for higher construction utilization even during the cold months, in order to address the pressing problem of a shortage of skilled workers in Germany. The group of companies employs over 120 people at its headquarters in Wachtberg and at 10 service locations in Germany and Austria.
