As a pioneer in the field of corporate sustainability, VERSO supports medium-sized companies with its software (SaaS) solution and services for sustainability management throughout their entire sustainable-transformation. Consultancy and training in ESG reporting and management, supply chain management and climate accounting make VERSO a comprehensive partner for corporate sustainability and ESG. With VERSO, companies fulfil regulatory requirements in a technology-supported, in a simple and secure manner. First and foremost, the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), the LkSG (Supply Chain Duty of Care Act), the European Supply Chain Directive CSDDD (Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive) as well as other European and national legal requirements.
Sustainability managers professionalise and digitalise their CSR management with VERSO or multiply the efficiency of their existing processes. VERSO is the operating system and cockpit for corporate sustainability management.
VERSO GmbH, based in Munich, was founded in 2010 by Andreas Maslo and Florian Holl and is now managed by the two founders together and with Nuvia Maslo and Alexander Penitsch.
Market & Drivers
As a European sustainability pioneer, VERSO offers a strong and established solution for companies within the ESG market. The company is therefore ideally positioned to benefit from the EU CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) and the CSDDD or the Supply Chain Act (LkSG) in the long term. VERSO is addressing the increasing need for digitalisation and knowledge in various areas of sustainability in the SME sector through the directive for capital market-oriented companies issued in 2017 and the Europe-wide extension to smaller SMEs, which was adopted in 2022. In addition, there are increasing regulatory challenges (e.g. CBAM, Green Claims Directive), for which VERSO is already successfully preparing its customers.
Nord Holding's contribution
Together with VERSO, NORD Holding plans to merge further software and consulting companies focusing on ESG into a synergetic portfolio and create a pan-European ESG champion.
