Founded in 1977, Parador designs and manufactures floor coverings such as laminate and parquet for the residential and commercial needs of customers worldwide. In addition to high quality demands on technology and material of its products, the company has been awarded several times for outstanding product design. In addition to its headquarters in Coesfeld, Parador operates a production site in Güssing in Austria.

By developing advanced technologies and innovative design concepts, Parador strives to expand its brand in an international environment. Here, the woodworking company pays special attention to the sustainable use of resources and is therefore a partner of the "Plant-for-the-Planet" foundation.

NORD Holding’s Participation

Within the scope of a carve-out Parador was acquired from the Hüls Group in 2016. Through the participation of NORD Holding it has been set up as a fully independent company group. As a sparring partner, NORD Holding supported the integration of new key corporate functions and through their funds enabled Parador to make strategic investments, such as the investment in a laminating plant for vinyl production. In 2018 Parador was sold to HIL Limited, a subsidiary of the Indian CK Birla Group.
