Zentrum Gesundheit, part of the NORD Holding portfolio, acquires Realeyes Group

Zentrum Gesundheit, a portfolio company of NORD Holding and the leading ophthalmology group in Lower Saxony, has acquired a majority stake in the Munich-based Realeyes Group. The transaction creates a leading ophthalmology group with two expansionary business clusters, in North and South Germany. The directors and founders of Realeyes remain on the board and also become shareholders of the Zentrum Gesundheit Group.
Realeyes is the market leader among premium providers of ophthalmology services in the Greater Munich area, with 126 employees at 21 sites. Realeyes offers a broad spectrum of medical treatment, as well as a growing range of refractive services.

For the Zentrum Gesundheit Group, this is already the eighth investment since the acquisition by NORD Holding in March 2019. Early in 2021 it purchased Klinik Flechsig GmbH in Kiel, which opened up the possibility of trans-regional purchases.
This transaction was supervised by Ronald Grott, André Seidel, David Wössner and Alexander Wambach from NORD Holding.
