Wilmes New Vivanco Supervisory Board Chairman
The shareholders meeting of the Vivanco Group elected him to the supervisory board at the end of 2003. In addition to his new role Wilmes will continue to actively supervise the successful re-direction of the Group. In the past Wilmes' posts have included that of Chief Executive of Deutsche Tiefbohr-Aktiengesellschaft, a globally operating company engaged in the oil and gas industry. Under his leadership the company was later sold to the British Abbot Group as part of the divestment strategy of the parent company Preussag.
Wilmes takes over as planned from Matthias Kues (44) who will continue to support the company as deputy supervisory board chairman. Kues is also CEO of NORD Holding GmbH, Hanover, the main shareholder.
