NORD Holding sells UHLIG Wel-Cor to RKM – Arens Anlagenbau GmbH

NORD Holding has sold its shares in UHLIG Wel-Cor GmbH, a highly specialized quality manufacturer of weld clad components and complex systems for the environmental and energy technology sectors. The buyer is RKM - Arens Anlagenbau GmbH.
Uhlig Wel-Cor GmbH produces and sells core components for the construction of large boilers for end customers in the field of environmental and energy technology (especially waste incineration plants) and sees itself as an innovation and quality leader in its direct competitive environment. Uhlig works together with internationally networked distributors, EPCs and service companies and maintains long-term business relationships with its cooperation partners. The end customers include large energy groups and service providers as well as plant manufacturers. At last count, UHLIG Wel-Cor GmbH employed around 110 people.
The parties have agreed not to disclose details of the transaction.

RKM-Arens Anlagenbau GmbH, headquartered in Twist, is a medium-sized industrial plant engineering company. It was formed in 2018 from a merger of two companies. With around 200 employees spread over four locations, activities are carried out in the fields of plant and pipeline construction, high-pressure pipeline construction, boiler assembly, tank and apparatus construction, plant maintenance and assembly service.
